the Israeli Diamond Exchange, where men carefully inspect and arrange diamonds. The upper channels follow a young man in a migrant barbershop in South Tel Aviv
undergoing facial waxing. These parallel spaces, the institutionalized wealth of former immigrant families who have “made it,” and the fragile present tense of those
still negotiating belonging are held together through an image-based dialogue.
