Noa Simhayof Shahaf is a multidisciplinary artist who creates films, installations, and performances.
Their work offers a technology-driven gaze into mechanisms of surveillance and intimidation, and how they encounter cultural tropes and narratives of the body and its horizons of possibility. Their work draws from phenomena in the history of technology and spectacle, the performative aspects of photography, and the pulses of posthuman corporeality. With and against them, she commits acts of fabrication, mimicry, recreation, and rendition.

Simhayof Shahaf holds a BFA from the Multidisciplinary Art School at Shenkar College. Since 2017, they had also been working as a video photographer and editor with artists and choreographers. Their work has been presented at the Center for Contemporary Art Tel Aviv, the Edmond de Rothschild Center, the Krakes—Kraków Art Week 2022, and in various group exhibitions.
